Playing age is how old a character appears, which may differ from your own age. Equity is the actors’ union; check each theatre’s eligibility rules. An understudy learns a role to perform when the main actor is unavailable.

Access and accommodations: Video submissions are provided for accessibility, in order to see as many people as possible and accommodate actors' schedules; for a general audition there is very little difference between in-person and video auditions and a video is reviewed with the same consideration as someone coming in-person.
