What to prepare

Help with headshots, résumés, and self-tapes

A headshot is a clear photo of you. An acting résumé lists your performance experience and training. A self-tape is a recorded audition video. Sides are the short script excerpts the theatre asks you to perform. Follow this theatre’s specific instructions.

How to apply

Apply through the SignupGenius link. For an in-person audition, prepare a 1-minute original solo piece written by you; it may be stand-up, a character monologue, spoken word, storytelling, or a musical number, and you will also be asked to improvise. If unable to audition in person, submit a digital reel featuring at least 2-3 original, distinct comedic characters and no longer than 4 minutes total; upload the reel, headshot, and resume to wetransfer.com, use "YOUR NAME - SFN AUDITIONS 2025" in the title and message subject line, and email to info@stirfridaynight.com.
